Aux. Air Reg. question
Does anyone know where the Aux. air regulator is in a 87 max? I need to have mine replaced and am wondering if it's similar to replacing a mass air flow sensor.

The AAV is on the firewall side of the IM. It looks like a cone connected to a cylinder, and has a harness and a larger vaccum line going to it. It's about dead center right next to the EGR valve.

It's much easier to replace than the AFM. I did mine in about 10 minutes. It has one electrical connector and bolts on to the intake.
