Fuel injectors recall
I called up nissan yesterday to see if I could find anything out about the service history on my car. It didn't come with any records, since the original owners were dead. Like dead for 7 years.
Couldn't tell me much, but she didn't mention that my car had an open recall on it that had never been done. She said to make an appointment at a dealer and take it in. Also gave me a file number and some other info about her.
So, how long are they going to have my car? I don't want to drop it off and not have it for weeks while they try and get parts. My other cars are leases, and we use the Max to keep the mileage down on those.

I was at the dealer the other day and overheard a phone call about the subject. Her car wasnt under the recall and was gonna cost her $900. Should only take a day, actually couple of hours, make sure they have all parts on hand.

In and out in 1 day...(done in 1996 car with 70k )...didn't make the car run better or worse, but I no longer smelled fuel coming from the engine compartment. Yeah the injectors were starting to leak..could see where the wet spots were. Make your appointment and see if you can get them to order the injector recall kit before dropping your car off.
