Try some KYB's with Suspension Techniques Sport Springs thru JcWhitney, Summit Racing, Amazon or eBay.....These spring are well designed and balanced....You can also try KYB's with coilover hat and springs....Not sure what spring rate to use but you will have too experiment! The Suspension Techniques is PnP....

As for the lowering sprains, just walk around on your ankles for a few hours.

I wish the best for you! I have a buddy with a really clean 87 Maxima that I was trying to give advice to regarding lowering his car.....Well just for comparing the 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen chassis they are also most identical! I made my suggestions and he chose the Ghetto a$$ method by letting a exhaust shop cut his coil springs....Then he wanted me to help him resolve his cars harsh suspension behavior! ST spring are inexpensive and easy too do with basic hand tools....Good luck I wish I had a 2nd gen as well so I could show you how it would look!

i think the springs on the rear of a 3rd gen are different, as for the 200sx, dunno, you might want to go snooping around a junkyard, or tha innanet...

I used S13 Cusco Coilovers in the front of my 2nd gen. I had to file one hole on the strut tower to get it to fit in and cut the brake line tab off of the coilover. Almost a direct bolt in on the front. The rear, I was going to experiment with cutting the strut housings and fitting a KYB AGX with Ground Control sleeves and Springs.

But I sold the car before I got that technical with it. My only regret was not using blown coilovers to test the front out. Haha

3rd gen springs are different, overall diameter of the spring is smaller IIRC. I ran a 3rd gen setup on my 2nd gen...the stuff to make it work is rather...much.
