Vacuum problem

So I removed the big air box after the throttle body. I assume most of it was emission related but I could be wrong. I'm not 100% sure what everything goes to on the second gen.

The Car runs great now, it idles at the proper rpm. However, when you give it gas it stalls.

does anyone have a diagram of the vacuum set up or can guide me to get it so it won't stall. I've bought a cone filter and set up a pop charge intake for the time being. I just need to figure out what else has to be routed so it won't stall.

I just got rid off all that vacuum stuff I ran my fpr directly off the intake and the brake booster directly off the intake. If you have all the other stuff you could set up a single vacuum distro and run everything. Mcmastercarr is a good place to go. I had a similar setup in my ranger.

No, mass air flow is still connected and pluged into my new intake set up.

If I had a vacuum diagram I'd know how to set it up better. I Just can't identify most parts on the 2nd gen. They look so different from the 4th gen.

Pretty much I'd like to remove EGR and Evap completely from my set up and just run a short ram like what I had in the 4th gen.

I would take it off and cap the exhaust, if you are not worried about idling in the cold I would take everything off the intake, egr, aiv, and all that other bull on the intake. I haven't had any problems other than having to wait for it to warm up in the morning. I only have two vac lines ran. One for the FPR and one for the brake booster.

When you removed the airbox did you mess with any of the intake between the MAF and the throttle body? On the 85-86, I believe there are at least 3 vacuum lines that hook up after the MAF. On the 87-88 I believe that are 2 vacuum lines. Also it would help to make sure the MAF isn't sitting loose.

i'll see if I can post the pics in the next couple days from the FSM, alot of it has to do with feeding air into the exhaust and intake, and crank vent, I was just looking at it the other day to see how to run a intake.

I used the FSM form the 86' 300zx. It helped a lot. I got it to run pretty steady last night. There is still some components I need to remove related to EGR. i'll also need to cap off the exhaust as well. Over all it runs a lot better. Still stutters every now and then but has regained all of it's power on acceleration. I'm sure there is still some vacuum leaks still at large. I'm going to replace a lot of hose to help with all the brittle cracked hoses. Hopefully this will clear up the reaming issues.

If anyone has pictures of their intake set up I'd love to see it. Just in case I'm missing something. Feel free to post some up.

I have a cone filter, just need some more cuplers and clamps to get everything assembled.

not the best pic but this is my setup so far, I have to get a wider bend pipe to make room for the air filter
