1985 Nissan Maxima with only 40K miles
This is the lowest mileage one I have ever seen.

From the article:
This 1985 Nissan Maxima is a first-year second generation example with just under 40k miles. These early models are interesting in their attempt to blend comfort, technology, and power into one affordable package, offering something a bit more special than the average Camry or similar Japanese family sedan.

CMax yea get rid of the kids and it makes keeping nice things much more easy, the wife is kinda a toss up, if shes like a couple of my exs and would just laugh if she spilled juice on a phone that you are letting her use with no regard for how hard you had to work to get it in the first place sell her with the kids....
Looking at it in a financial way I don't think it is that bad of a price. Given how long the car has been on the market I would go out on a limb and bet a serious buyer with cash could probably score this car in the high $5's to low $6's. If you were going to use it for a commuter car then think about the proven reliability of these cars. They were good performing workhorses of their time. What else could you find out there with these low miles decent fuel mileage and get to know that you will be unique. Throw a set of modest wheels at it and you'd have a nice car. Face it, these cars will never be that high dollar collectible but at least you'd get to use and own one as close to new again as you'll ever get. The only thing I'd want is proof of miles. The interior is clean but I just sent a '87 SE up to New York that had a pretty comparable looking interior and that car had 213k on it. So it goes to show with some care they hold up. Would be a really cool car if you had a light commute everyday.
