'88 Maxima GXE

So I recently acquired my first import As the title suggests it's an 88' Maxima Wagon. For the price I paid it seems fair, maybe even more than fair IDK yet. I have some concerns that I need some help with.

1. When accelerating there seems to be a lack of power, slow moving to get up to even 20mph. Once up to speed no problem. I'm thinking possibly just in need of a full tune up, wires/plugs/rotor and cap. Thoughts?

2. Rear shocks are shot. Vehicle sags and rear wheels look tilted , top inside , bottom tilted out, maybe 10-15 degree tilt (just guessing here) How do I know if it's electronic suspension or just your normal suspension? I have 0 experience working with suspension systems.

That's my top priorities at the moment.
Other than that the car seems to run decent, the A/C even still blows ice cold air.

congrats on the car, as far as the suspension you do not have that on your car since it's a GXE, it is only on SE model.

Ok good to know, so does that make it an easier fix? Not as expensive maybe?

Yes, it's a much cheaper to fix, since the SE electronic suspension was optional and it was not a cheap replacement which the availability of the parts are hard to find. Mine was already converted to a NON electronic suspension, because I see the harness by the strut tower was disconnected. Luckily for you don't have that. So front and rear gonna be cheap replacement usually have KYB's and Monroe.

Sorry it took me so long to read and reply ManMax. That's good news! Only 2 issues I'm having with my newly aquired vehicle like I said is it's sagging in the rear , bottoms out over a little pebble just about and leans towards the passenger side, so I'm guessing it needs all 4 corners replaced 2nd issue is the engine's lack of power, which I'm thinking is just needing a tune up, mainly the cap and rotor. When it's warm out I'll get to that!
