Looking for a good compressor, I can't get mine to kick on no matter what I do, not spending $300 for a new one, so I either find a used one or punt the car.

Or, any advice on what I may have missed when trying to get it to power up would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

is the clutch kicking in on the compressor when you turn on the AC?

 

If compressor won't kick on, could be because your refrigerant is very low. Old car -- over time it leaks !!!
