I think I jumped the gun. I switched out most of the lighting in my 87 SE to led bulbs. I did know to change the turn signal flasher which fixed the rapid flashing, but now, different issues pop up like light staying on when the car is off. Dash lights on before the lights are even turned on. Any suggestions or do I just switch it all back. I keep reading about load resistors. But can't seem to figure out the specifics of what to do.
Been a long time since I did it but my '91 Toyota Crown I swapped to all LED and I did physical resistors instead of the LED flasher. IIRC it was just tapping the resistor one side into the ground and one into one of the + wires and that was it
If you unplug the flasher does it fix the dash light issue or not? That should narrow down if the flasher could be the issue or not
