i recently tired to plug in some led lights instead of my stock white blub, as i pluged the leds in i noticed that when i put on the turning signal the lights do not turn on... should i be using another type of led or what am i doing wrong?

 

First of all, what exactly did you do? Did you just do a swap out of bulbs or did you try to rewire it?

 

just swap the bulbs

 

try taking the bulb out, turning it 180 and putting it in that way

 

i did that, when i plug the back ones in the only way they work is when i click the hazards, and only the back ones work...

 

You need a resistor I believe. Just get regular amber bulbs...leave the LED's to the lights that only turn on and off (not blinkers).

Um you may have blew your fuse also. If they work with the hazzards but not the signal you have blown a fuse. Also once you do get it going you will have a fast flash.

 

Kzoo he said he just swap the bulb, I dont think it will flash fast if you use the bulb holder. Mine flashed fast when I didn't use it for my led turns so I had to put a bulb in the socket and just tuck it out of the way . They do sell resistors that you can solder on the bulb holder to mimic the effects of a bulb in place.
