Gauges....

Still haven't figured out what motor I have (greater issue is getting it started right now but that's life in WI). My next question is, the oil and temp. gauges read, but sporatically. Oil reads after running about 5 min. and temp only moves slightly. It blows good heat, so it seems to me the gauge should be up higher. I was thinking about installing a Smiths 2 in 1 temp and oil press. like in the MG. Any thoughts on that? TIA!

Those would be better to install vs the stock oil psi, water temp gauges.
