Can someone tell me if the clock in the 1st gen is a digital clock, whether it lights up at night and if so what color? Thanks.

 

i have an 83, my clock, when you turn on the parking lights comes on. its digital and green. all the bulbs can be changed to another color if you so desire...very simple swap actually..

that's great..thanks for answering my question. Can you tell me more about changing the color. I'm not quite sure what you are talking about because my impression was that it's a LCD right? So how would you change the color?

 

actually, i was talking about changing the color of the lights...not too sure about the color of the clock. since the dash is lit up with small bulbs all you have to do is change them out.
