The closest interior to our cars would be the 3rd gen, and I don't even think that dash would fit in our cars properly. Hell, I've never even heard of anyone swapping out dashes in their car. That would cost a fortune and is entirely impractical. You'd be better of spending that money on engine mods.
There's lots of people that enjoy customizing / modding their 2nd gens, myself included, but don't get too carried away to the point where your sinking a ton of money into a 14 year old car to make it look like a brand new car. You'd be better off just getting a brand new car.

We do have reverse indiglos for our cars available at http://www.procarparts.com, there are two different types, one is silver, the other blue, you have to specify in the Comments section of your order the type you want...otherwise, they pick it for you.
I've got the reverse indiglos, not installed yet, but I also picked up some Intelliglow needle light up kits from http://www.importintelligence.com. This is being installed on my gauge cluster as we speak, I'll post some pics on the Yahoo! 2nd Generation Maxima Club, you're welcome to join and check the Photos Section as I gradually get the work done.
Tsk tsk.

dude its not about money, got to the junk yard , find something diffrent, try it. if it works, you got something totally diffrent, if not sell the part to another junk yard or something. i bought my max as a toy not a daily driver. thats why i love my max it is 14years old so if i screw it up too bad i aint loosing much. and the best part about a 2nd gen max is you cant find parts in mags. for them so if you hook it up, no one eles will have on like it. unlike a "toy box honda"
