6.5" bolt-on speaker mounts

Since I have some time these days being done with grad school (and have nothing much else going on until I find a "real" job), I made up a set of speaker mounts for a guy here. Since I still get PM's every now and then about them, I made a couple more sets while I was at it. These are the 6.5" mounts I've been making for years. The cut-out diameter is ~5.5" which is the "universal" size for most 6.5" speakers.

Yes, I realize you can make your own if you're so inclined, and yes you can even hack up your Bose enclosures and glue some speakers into them, etc. Nonetheless, I still have a few sets of these ready.

PM me if you're interested

I bought a set of these about 5 years ago. Easy to install, have held up with zero issues. Very worthwhile, easy mod.

I haven't made these in a couple of years. It was a lot of work getting covered in MDF for not much net profit for me. Plus, a few years ago some company popped up on eBay who makes them cheaper than me out of plastic. Combine that with me having a real job and not really care to fool with them anymore I don't make them any longer. Honestly the last few people to contact me about it I just refer them to the eBay listings. Don't remember the eBay seller name but it's this company, you can probably buy straight from the website too:

Ill admit I bought a pair of those plastic PVC crap on ebay. Not even comparable to the ones you made James...those mounts on ebay are a joke..

Glad I bought them back when James had some free time!

Still going strong with my Diamond Audios and it's been like 7 years or something. It might be time to get new audio stuff. I need an amp and some fronts that can take some more power.
