'92 GXE Part Out:

I have a couple parts threads that have rounded the bend. So, I figured I'd post an updated part out specific to my parts car. I have pulled the typical stuff off, stuff I ALREADY have on my shelves. But, it's stuff that you just have to pull.

In any case, I'm putting it out there to see if there is something in particular someone needs before I junk this car. Engine ran perfect before I pulled the injectors and intake plenum. If there are any nic-nacs anyone is looking for, let me know.....wire plug for something? Particular relay? There are just some things I'm not going to pull unless someone asks/needs it...like the ecu...I've already got 2-3 of those.

Again, I have 90% of this stuff on my shelves, but I thought there might be something someone needed that would be easier to pull from the car rather than search my shelves (at least until I get everything better organized!).

Cloth interior is blue. Everything else is typical black. Some things like the seats I won't sell because it was a flood vehicle, and although they look clean, you pat them and this nasty dust comes off. But, I have tons of other seats from other Maximas in what I call the "checkered" blue/gray/black design.

Again, outside of this car, I have tons of interior parts. So just let me know what you need.

No deck lid or stock spoiler. However, I do have the Stillen wing spoiler that came as part of the full kit they made years ago. I don't think they make or sell it anymore.

You will have to send me a pic or something regarding what you are talking about with the cruise control plug. Do you mean as part of the steering wheel controls? Either way, on something like that I'd like a picture to confirm it is the same plug. But, if there is a difference, I've got other stock style steering wheels I'm sure I've got that piece!

Sorry......Sold the rear peice some time ago. I'm keeping the front and sides on the car. I have removed the spoiler and selling it as well. I'm keeping the Stillen 3rd brake light peice that is RARE to find as it was a $40 option with this kit.

I'm sure I've got one or three VG flywheels. No VE flywheels though, in case someone was wondering.
Several flex plates too, but that's for an auto.

I'm still waiting on a response from another member about a used Fidanza. I think I remember hearing good things about those when I did use the forum on a regular basis. If I don't get confirmation from them by tomorrow, will you have a decent flywheel available to be shipped to me asap? Much appreciated again sir!

It will need to be turned, but it was the one out of my Max before I pulled the engine and turboed it. I installed a Fidanza in my turbo. I've enjoyed mine, so if you can get a Fidanza, I'd definately go that route! It would be Wednesday before I could track it down and take any images for you.

Seatbelt

Would you have the driver's side passive seatbelt assembly from the 89 max?

If you mean the electronic.... I have a couple of them that work. However, if they system has failed then Nissan warranties their seatbelts for life and should replace it, installed, for free.

If you are referring to the center cover for the decklid....the cosmetic peice that blends the two tail lights, then no...I do no have that peice. Sorry.

If you are referring to the brake light "bar" that is part of the spoiler, YES, I have the red brake light peice as well as the bulb component.

Not sure if a clitch. Seemed I got notice someone looking for VE manifolds, but not posted here. If anyone was asking, I deleted the email notice prepared to respond here.

I have no VE exhaust manifolds.

Have any spare window regulator screws? I need all of the screws for one door. I believe there are 12 total (including the three motor to regulator screws).

Got a ton of them. Not sure of a cheaper shipping route other than $5 flat rate. Any ideas?

Or you could just stick them in a padded envelope and mail them

So you for sure have all 12?

Yeah, I've got a few. These were just those I picked out of my box really quick. I probably have 2-3x's more, but didn't think I needed any more in the picture! Of course, I'm completely confused about where you are getting the number of bolts you need. Unless I'm missing something, there are only 3 for the motor and 4 holding the regulator - 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. That's only 7 you should need for one door. If you include the two needed to secure the glass (although those are different in shape/length), then that is still only 9 total.

So please clarify. If you only need one door, then I can send you the 7 you'll need. Let me know if you need the ones for the glass (also in the pic).

IIRC there's 3 screws holding the motor section of the regulator to the door panel, 2 screws holding the glass to the regulator (the 2 silver ones in your picture), 4 screws holding the vertical section of the regulator to the door panel (2 top, 2 bottom), and then there's three (I believe these are smaller rounded head Phillips that I don't see in your pics) screws holding the motor to the regulator.

I know for certain in the past I've had to remove the motor separately from the regulator once the regulator was already out of the car (which makes me think now that the 3 screws that hold the motor portion to the door don't also hold the motor to the regulator - meaning there's 12 screws total).

If I have time tomorrow I'll check one of my good doors to double check. But yeah, looks like you have everything I need except the motor to regulator screws

Yeah, the motor screw I'm not sure I have because I don't remove the motor as I've never had kne go bad.... Always been the regulator and I just replace with another complete component. I may be able to round some up though as I have regulators w/ motors sitting around so as to compare the screws to others I've got around. I tend to keep all my Nissan screws, bolt, nuts, etc.

Oh, and the three holding the motor mechanism to the door are not related with securing the motor to the regulator itself, assuming I understood your question correctly.
