Noises from Injectors?

Its winter now, and since last month, every time when I start the car in the cold mornings and afternoons, when the car is warming up, the injectors makes loud ticking noises? What is this.

I know its the normal functioning sound of injectors which are "tick, tick", but the noise is so loud sometimes you can here it metres away.

Can someone explain why? Do I need to add some injectors cleaner fluid?

Thanks guys.

what model car do you have 92 SE or GXE...if you have an SE you might be hearing the infamous VTC "tick/click"

He's in the southern hemispere (Australia) so he's got no vtc clickin .
It's normal for your injectors to make a clicking sound but the sound your describing is probably the lifters. Does the sound go away after the car is warmed up?

Yeah your right we dont have the VCT version, although I wish we did

Yes the lifters does sound very likely to be the case. The noise does go away after warm up though. So do I need to worry then?
