Brake problem

My back driver'sside brake is making a knd of "shwish" noise when the car is rolling and the noise gets faster as I go faster. I think it is that my brake pad is rubbing against the rotor bu anyone's help is welcomed.

make sure that's not the brake pad wear indicator rubbing against the rotor- telling you your pads are worn out.

also make sure the pads aren't just worn out.

the swish-swish-swish noise also means that your rotors are warped a bit. you need to remove them and have them turned or replaced when you do your next brake job.

Also check both of the calipers and make sure the pins slide freely on them. they have been known to lock up at times and cause nasty problems on the brakes.

If you're not sure how to do all this, please take the car to a competent mechanic or a friend that knows how to work on brakes. Auto brakes are NOT something you want to screw up. you could kill someone.
