I have a 1989 super white nissan maxima with bose audio system. If it is possible I would like to take out the Bose tape player and put a Bose CD player in. I emailed Bose to see if this was possible, but they have not responded. Does anyone know if there is a bose cd player i can put in my 89 max?

 

I have the same question as the cassette player on my Max is not working so it's radio only for now (as if I have any cassettes around anymore anyway.) What's the cheapest/easiest way to get CD playing capability into this Bose system?

I got the CD/CASS Bose from the 97-99 Maxima's in my maxima. Check my homepage, I have a pic of it in my 4th page.

 

How much did you get for your bose system? is it easy to install it?

 

where did you get the harness for that 4th gen stereo. let me know where you got your harness.

Any good local radio installation shop should be able to make a custom harness. I bought my harness from ebay, the seller got the ends from a 4th gen and a 3rd gen and made a special harness and I paid $18.00. I paid $150.00 for my bose unit from SOROCKSOROCK on the org. He crashed his car.
