Just to let you know, your car is a GXE, not an SE. It has GXE wheels, grille, window trim and taillights. The only SE item your car has is the white gauge faces, which can easily be swapped out. Your spoiler is also aftermarket, not a true SE spoiler. Other than that, nice car! CAn't beat the black on black leather

you're wrong..this was a factory rebuild..put in a different back and different top..the engine is frmo an SE..you guys might say oooh this that..engine runs so well..no problems at all and quick as anything response..the spoiler is factory. Here's what it was..car totaled. It's an se..it's a car from 3 parts if u say frame might be bad then you're wrong! Because it was all factory parts fixed there..

ummm ok what ever that means,

Chrome trim, GXE steering wheel, rims. I too was once in denial, when I had my gxe that I thought was an SE.

Not me, you're still wrong. That engine (the VG30DE, 160hp) was standard in ALL Maximas from 1989 to 1991. Also in the GXE MAximas from 1992-1994. You have a GXE steering wheel. You have GXE window trim. Rarely do shops replace these things when a car was totalled. Anyway, why would they replace the damaged parts with GXE parts when it was an SE? Do you really think a crash would damage all FOUR wheels so bad that they replaced them with GXE wheels?

Ok, I was wrong about the spoiler, it does look factory. What threw me off was that it's missing the LED brake light in the middle. But the fact is the car was WAY more GXE parts (window trim, steering wheel, taillights) which are VERY hard to swap out than it has SE parts (spoiler, gauges) which are easy to swap out.

If you REALLY want me to prove you wrong, we can continue. YOu can tell me what color marks you have on your stock springs and THIS will tell me if you have a GXE or SE. Bring it!

so you started with a SE and used
GXE:
seats
rear taillights and center reflector
grille
all 4 doors
steering wheel
wheels
removed fog lights
took off stock SE spoiler and replaced with aftermarket

nice looking car, but I'm with Ken and thinks it's mostly GXE

but that doesn't really matter anyway, nice car and glad you like it

What's the difference between GXE and SE seats? The leather? Stitch pattern?

A good question would be "where are you located"? That way, we can get one of our definitive "pros" out there to confirm or deny this "SE/GXE Stigmata".

your saying, the car was an se then it was totaled and the used gxe parts to fix the front and back, wheels, window trim, steering wheels and every other gxe part on your "gse"

heres what well do, why dont you show us the title or give us the VIN number, Ill run it and see what model and if it was totaled

I'm near Boston and I go to college there, but I don't really give a ****. Anyways, your car must have been in a really bad accident if they replaced the doors with GXE doors, then wired them for the keyless entry. You have a GXE, deal with it.
