wierd noise

wierd noise

has anyone ever driven their car to about 105 and heard the transmision or the engine make a sound like TSss right when it shifts? Well today my 3rd gen started making that sound at around 60. is it a loss of engine compression? is it a bad vacuum hose? or what? can someone help me

My car does that when it shifts if I floor it with the A/C on...I drive with it off.

Actually THATS IT!!!!! I noticed that that is what it was doing if i floored it around 60mph!!!! what is that though? does any body know?

Same

HEy guys my max does the same thing if i have my a/c on and I floor it. It squeaks really loud. I dont know what it could be. Someone help me out and tell me what kind of repair it would be. If not Im getting a new max in December.

you might want to check your a/c belt it might be a bit loose. If it looks crappy go put a new one on.

It probably has something to do with the fact that the computer will disengage the A/C under full throttle or heavy loads.
