So, does anyone have an idea of when the rest of us losers that didn't have the money for the GD can get our hands on one?? I would really like one soon, even if it is going to be another $50. There should be three hoods shipping out today. Connie was telling me that they had received a bad batch of resin so they had to throw 45 hoods away because they all had imperfections. Some of our hoods were included. She also told me that they have lost $13,000 due to this. FI is trying to get this money back from their resin suplier. They also received a bad roll of carbon fiber and had to buy the material from a different source. All of these things have contributed to the slow production of our hoods. Just letting you guys know whats up...

if you recieved your hood wouldn't you post pics of it first thing out of the box and especially if you installed it! I see no pics so I think no one has recieved theres

And actually if I got my hood, I'd say screw the pics, and go immediately put it on. Pics would come later when it's convenient for me.

It would be nice to see pics of these hoods and see what they look like. Not to bother anyone but it's something being discussed about lately, and I would like to see what this CF hood looks like.

 

I know Im and the second one to get the next hood because connie told me I was number 2 (not counting the two original people who said they got there already)

Ok I havent been on this thread much at all. I dont even have a 3rd gen. I have a 2nd gen. but from all Ive heard and seen everyone whos saying they have one are all NEWBIES. No Original 3rd gen. guys have theres yet, names I recognize. I see some foul play. But it could be my exaggeration of the situation. But for real how come Matt93se doesn have one or pple originally on the org with status' under their names have any. The ppl getting them are all newbies. And this guy with the vg30et engine and all his mods. I mean its possible but is it real. And hes a newbie out of nowhere with his mods. Where are some pics?? Makes you think guys!
