Now i have 1 more question. The car started up and i took it to advance auto and they checked the starter altenator and battery and said they were fine. I came home cutoff the car and it started up ok. has anyone had a problem that resembles this?

I think a common problem with the auto is the "N" "P" switch. This will not allow the car to be started if it isnt in n or p. They will get flaky or out of adjustment and not allow you to start your car even when they are in the right position. I am just throwing out possibalities though because I am not sure if it will make a click when you try to start it.

well then if that's the case when he turns the key it wouldn't click.

Hey im not sure what to make of it. Im going to take it to the shop in the morning because its getting a little sluggish( when i turn the key it turns over but slowly and i turn it of and turn the key and it starts sluggishly) when it starts up. and it did this when i drove around my block and cut the car off and then start it back up after 5 minutes. It runs great or it has. Thanks for all the suggestions though.

i have the same problem. a machanic told me that its the exaust from the manifold. and that everytime the car is cold it will do this. the mechanic said that it is some kind of leak and is very simple. but i still await him to fix it
