Preview of Aluminum 3rd Gen Gauge bezel

This took like 2 days of measuring with dial calipers but I think I have it down pretty good in autocad. Hopefully there will be enough interest in these to produce them. Prototypes for fitment will probably be cut this week or next depending on how busy we are for Hot Import Nights Atlanta. I'm not sure exactly what years this fits so anybody more knowledgeable please tell me. Thanks.

cool
I recently saw a fake brushed aluminum bezel on ebay for 3rd gens, they've had the carbon fiber one out for a while but hadn't seen the alum until then

also, if you guys want, I could meet up with you and you could take measurements on my carbon fiber bezel - it fits really well (it looks pretty much like the one you drew there). I go to GT and will be back there since we start on the 19th. I know Jeff graduated, do you go there?

also, that will fit all 89-94 maximas

looks pretty good to me. I assume they will be real aluminum, not that crap with "aluminum look" vinyl behind 1/8" of clear plastic??

Anyway, looks better than the one I made.. I'll be in for one when you get done with them.

And as craig said, they'll fit 89-94 Maxes.

I have a 3rd Gen gauge surround to test fitment so that's not a problem. It will be made from real aluminum so it will look just like our dash kits.

Right now we dont' have one for the 3rd Gen Max because we got a bad template to go on. I've gotten a lot better with autocad as of lately so if there's interest I will digitize one and get some prototypes made. It probably takes a couple days to fully digitize a kit so figure from the time that I find a good template about a week or two to completely make a kit from it. We've had a lot of things set back so we could work on door sills.

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since this thread, but the bezel project was put on the backburner while we finished up some other stuff. I need someone in the ATL area who is willing to test fit the prototype. That person will get the bezel for free. So email me at apsignworks@bellsouth.net if you're in Atlanta and interested. Thanks.

Well, I've got to take care of 5th Gen Maximas and the logo for 4th Gens but once Shadow gets me something to work with, sills can start production in a week or two.

I just bought one from Speedhut, off of Ebay. Brushed Aluminum. No plastic, the real thing. Check it out.
