there are a few people that have, I am not one of them, but I have heard of people doing it in years past. I am just waiting to save enough money so I can get te Koni's and put my SPrints on. I still have the EIbach/ TYok setup but hate the Tokico shosck and struts and will never buy them again.

Actually what I should be asking is, how much ground clearance would I have on my '91 SE with a aerokit, ST Springs, Koni's, and a 45 series tire? Would I need camber bolts for the ST Springs?

I hate my Toks too.

After about 6000 miles they lost the firm controlled feeling they had when new. I can feel my car 'pushing' through the corners alot more than it used to.

I'm hoping a RSB will cure some of it.

Not much really, I've got about 7.5 inches of clearance with 1.8" drop spings, and 215/55/16 tires. You should be fine as long as you take it easy on rough roads and speed bumps.

I hate em combined with my Intrax. With the Eibachs they were fine even after ~ 1.5 years of use...

I have them with eibachs and cannot stand them, they do exactly like randall was talking about! Better known as they give out and go crappy after short time, so it is Koni's with their lifetime warranty for me ASAP!

So what does this mean? Are KYB's better than Tokico's??? Has anybody had the same problem with the KYB's than everybody has with the Tok's?? Do they both loose their traction? I have heard alot of people complain about their tok's on this post, but it seems to me that nobody is having problems with their KYB. (or are they just not complaining) Tok's are supposed to be better than KYB......are they?

KYB's are stock replacments, they will last 6-8 months with a drop.

I put Tokicos on my 93' GXE and will not make that same mistake on my 92 SE. It will be Koni and Eibach.

koni people

basically, all the non-OEM aftermarket shocks will go out pretty soon it seems, except Koni. Who here has Koni's and has had them for more than 6k miles? do they still work well?

i am glad that i hjavent done my suspension set up yet.. but konis for 500-600 dollars and then installation is alot of mula... and then you have to get spring.. and the price is what 800-900 hmm..

besides konis are better, and have adjustablity, right? just the whole cutting and tyring to get it in the housing is my biggest nightmare..
