Squeal From Speakers Or Deck
#3
if your deck is the OEM Bose deck (not aftermarket, the tape slot will say "bose" on it) then it will only work with Bose speakers. You will either have to replace/repair your Bose speakers with new Bose speakers or replace your headunit and speakers with aftermarket ones.
If you have an aftermarket headunit connected to the Bose speakers using an adapter you'll have to replace the speakers and wire them up directly to the headunit without the bose adapter.
Craig's site (listed in the FAQ at the top of the forum) should be able to help you out with the work.
Hope this helps.

basic cd player for about 100-140 if you are not a audiophile and either some cheap components or a nice set of 6 by 9 speakers for just the front. (who cares about passengers anyways) and the wiring harnesses should suffice. Might need a amp if you wan't loud clean sound becuase a 100x2 amp for my front speakers made a huge difference for the price.
But this is only if you want to get rid of the whole bose system like most people seem to do.

If you can isolate which speaker is squealing, you can disconnect them to get rid of the squeak. That's what I do! My Bose only have 2 (good) speakers right now (one dead & one squealing & disconnected) but that's good enough for me!
Probably still sound better than some cheap system.

Mine squeels, but only when tapes are being played. Is that whats happening on yours 90AZMAX ?
b/c it would not be bad speakers, it just the belt for the tape drive that is slipping badly. Im going to replace mine too, or maybe I'll get motivated and start installing my system, its been collecting dust.
