ignition coils

were is the cheapest place on the web to get coil on plugs for a 92SE? thanks for any sugestions.

coil on plugs? i shopped for coils a while back and the cheapest place was at courtesy nissan--->>> http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...gnition-ve30de

Not bad but would suck if you had to replace them all.. (Or that dang harness!)

test them first. the front 3 are the ones that usually crack.

Yep, Courtesy Nissan. I had all mine replaced. Not only the front coils were bad, the rear coils were going away too. I think it's about $50 a piece.

www.carparts.com They have them for $32/each and upgraded ones if you really wanted.

aren't they used? i wouldn't go with used coils.

ummm no. The $32 ones are for the VG the ones for the VE are $105 and $106---notice it says Distributorless Ignition System Coil---that is what the VE is.

best bet is Courtesy

Your car will run very crappy, and it will feel like it is cutting off
because it actually is 'cause you have a bad coil or coils. If any of you guys have ever worked on the older cars that have one coil and have points, I remember that if your coil was bad the car would just cut off. That's what happened to me in my 'ol Nomad. This is very similiar to our Maximas, but instead of one coil we have six of 'em and they are not cheap. Autozone here in Dallas can get you the ones at the front of the engine for around $53 each and O'reilly can get the ones for the rear of the engine for around $48. It helps if you have a buddy that works at either one of these.
