Squeeking noise between 4k - 5k rpms...

I am not sure if it's the air being sucked in through the intake but I hear a squeeking noise whenever I really open it up.

Anyone else hear this noise between 4k and 5k rpms?

Check your belts.

Is it kind of like a bird chirping? Under acceleration and maybe even deceleration? If so, then you've got a broken exhaust stud, and it's been broken for a couple months (enough to widen the metal on the exhaust manifold enough to let exhaust get out at a high velocity, the car is actually whistling at you

Wait until the car is cold and reach down to check each exhaust stud and nut. There should be 6 on each manifold, in a zig-zag pattern.
