Torque Converter

Has anyone replaced their torque converter lately, I'm going to have the engine and trans out of the car, so I thought I could put a new TC in it at 101,500 miles (1993 SE). I dont want it to get old and start breaking apart, as some are known to do. But they are'nt that cheap to replace, either. But some people notice performance gains. What do 'yall think.

Get a higher stall TC and VB mod and you're set.

If you just get a new factory TC then you wont notice any performance gains.

www.protorque.com its $395 + shipping. I've had good results with mine on my old 87 maxima. BTW replace the rear engine oil and both driveaxle oil seals.
