Need help in heater repearing
Need help in heater repearing
My blower works ok, but doesn't get me hot air. The temerature doesn't changing even with AC. But when I turn temerature regulator, I feel some changes in airflow. What could be wrong with that?
I think our HCU has a habit of dying out due to bad wiring... When I had my AC recharged, they had to fix the wiring for the button so it would tell teh ECU to kick the compressor on... I also can't shut my vents, and I'm thinking it may be the same problem, just need to fix the joints inside the heater control...
Unfortunately, I have the cable for the hot vent super-glued in place, so for me to do that is a bit of a *****... But I bet that's your problem.

Hi
I had a problem with the heater not getting any hot water. Turned out the 2 vaccum lines to the water control valve on the fire wall got switched so that is was always closed. Check that and then there is the possiblity of air bubble in the water, for that there is a small drain cap / bleeder on top of the engine somewhere, search the threads.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot! But could you finger out where "the water control valve" and "drain cap / bleeder" are?

May be my heater core really needs flushing?
