Brakes vibrate at low speed (possibly abs)

Its been happening for like a week now. Every time I use my brakes they work fine until right before I come to a complete stop. There is no way to control the virbration it happens every single time regardless of if I pump the brakes a bit or just slam on them. By vibration, I mean the brakes feel very spongy right right before I come to a complete stop, the pedal vibrates a bit and there is a sound very similar to how the ABS sounds. I've checked the brake fluid, its good. Any suggestions, etc.

Good call. I was driving my car yesterday in very heavy rain and the brakes worked perfectly.

My 91 SE started doing the same thing you described for about a week now. What was the problem and how did you fix it?

to the ABS brake diagnostics... they're listed on the bignissans.org.uk website. (you gotta search for them, but they're in there). very informative.

it'll tell you if a wheel sensor is bad.

allso check the wear on your pads and make sure they're up to snuff.. I've seen it happen for some strange reason when the pads get thin.
