what happens when a fuel pump gos bad?
I think that may be my problem the car revs great till under a load then it bogs really bad after 2500 rpm.

hook up a fuel pressure gauge and check the pressure. also check your fuel filter.

I have been there .. done that..
If you go to the dealer make sure that you aware of certain things.. In the name of diangostics they will the start the ripping.. They might start saying that it is MAF..

Same thing happened with me. They started with MAF but then moved to Fuel pump..

I guess you can also get the code from ECM.. The blinking led undrneath the sterio. It is easy.. damn easy if you have the FSM..
