tire size question

Has anyone tried putting 225/60-15's on the stock (6" wide) wheels? If it's do-able, then I'm debating between those and 215/60's. I like that the 225/60's are wider, but I'm not sure how much the slight difference in diameter will make in appearance (129mm vs 135mm). The tires on there now are 205/65's, so the diameter of the 225's wouldn't seem to be much different, but would the 215/60's look better enough to give up the extra tire width?

If anyone has pictures of stock wheels with 225/60's or 215'60's, please let me know (esp. if you can see the side and tread).

Re: tire size question

i have 215/60/15 yokohama avs intermediates on my stock se rims, they look a lot better than stock 205/65/15 size the profile is slightly lower and it is a little wider than stock, it does make the car look a more aggressive. i tthink people who used the 225/60/15 tires found the profile to be too tall

I have 215/60's Yokohama H550A on my stock 15s. Like gdmaxse said they do make our cars look more aggresive. I get people looking at them all the time. It looks wider and you will be able to see the difference. I will have some pics of these up soon. Just need to get the pics developed.
