Squeaking noise plz help

Hey guys, I did try using the search function for this but I couldn't really find a clear answer. Since last week my car has been making this squeaking noise. It usually makes it when I start up or going at low speeds 0-30, it goes away then comes back sometimes. So basically it is totally random, sometimes I start up and drive and it'll squeak and sometimes it wont. I think the sound might be coming from the drivers side or left side of the car but I had my friend drive it and I could still hear it on the passenger side. The sound is a really high pitched squeak. Also it goes away when I hit the brakes.....Please add some suggestions if any of you might know what the problem could be. Thanks

Yeah I've got the same thing, just how you explain it. I'm pretty sure it's the wheel bearings on their way out. How many miles on yours? I'm at 132K

I have about 180k on the car, is there anything you have done to fix the bearing problem?

If it's the bearing you just get it replaced with a brand new one.

Re: Squeaking noise plz help

try getting new brake pads - mine did the high pitch squeel and it went away at faster speeds and when i was stopped or hitting the break. after i replaced the pads, it was gone. they are either wearing down or they may have somehow just got a bit of dirt in them. they're not too expensive, and if you're lucky like me they may even have a lifetime warranty so you don't ever have to pay for them again. good luck!
