Can someone briefly walk me through a typical CV axle/joint/boot repair???

How difficult is this procedure?

and...how difficult is it to change a fuel pump on a maxima? What all is involved?

cliff notes version
take off center axle nut
take off ball joint bracket
separate carrier bearing (pass side)
pull until axle falls

fuel pump..
lift up rear seat...take off cover..go from there.
