I've pegged mine past the 145 mark (if the gauge went up higher, it would probably be 150) but I seriously doubt I was going that fast.....took quite a bit of time to get there I might add...the downhill helped most of it. I was following a friend's 98 integra type R who does well over 150, and we were staying constant. Too bad the crotch rockets were walking away from us.

It's actually a picture of my car doing about 70 mph on 101 in Central California, I just moved the dial needles around a little bit.

Nah man, there are actually cops on the Verazanno, one time I was going like 70 at night and took the Bay Ridge exit, I saw a white patrol car behind me all the way, the guy caught up with me, followed me but as soon as I got off the Bay Ridge exit, he turned around and got right back on the bridge. When I used to take the bus early in the mourning, I saw those white cop cars pull over mad people in BayRidge who are just comming off the bridge. Most of the time, its free though. Saw a dope *** race once, two 328i's
I took it to 108 when it was closed for construction, but I got on it by mistake along with some late 80's Acura Legend, which wanted to race me and I ripped him a new crack

You guys crack me up! i had mine to 145. think she'll go faster though, but i'm not gonna do it on my sp5000s. maybe if i get better tires and some suspension mods. I just ordered a coutesy strut bar! we'll see if it'll go on my VE!

i did the 163 while racing a 300zx NA and a turbo talon
spanked them both hard
now this is a legit speed. i have the ticket. i did go to jail
and no the car was far from stock
i think {don't quote me on this} i think it still is the fastest N/A ve on this site with a 14.3
i think i nailed the top speed as well

One thing about those Eclipses(not the wussy RS, lol)......
they do haul a$$ when tuned properly!!!! my friends stock GST pulled some amazing speeds in the upper 140's(got too scared to look, maybe even 150) now that he's going for a chip and EVC, man it'll be sweet!!!! Hopefully this time I'll get the ***** to look at the speedo, plus I guess it's possible since the stock speedo goes to 160 anyways!!

fastest i've ever been.... 170 in a porsche. the porsche is on my website. it was SCARY too. Don't let anyone tell you different. what was even scarier was the porsche still had a little pedal left! what was really cool is it's airtight! that thing can MOVE!

Ridiculous...hahahaha...at least I'm not the one that said the max can do 163....I mean, damn, that's some badass gearing....hahahha..... I mean it's possible, but a whole whole whole lot needs to be done, and I seriously doubt anyone around has a max with all the goodies, or would even invest in one. I won't believe anything until I see it, especially a maxima that goes 163. I don't mean to bomb a lot of you people, especially the "cool guys" who address everyone else as "newbies"....but take the way I'm looking at it....a maxima that got a ticket going 163MPH........does that sound right to you?

that VE engine and tranny had more mods on it than anyone else has even thought of..
Mand set of cams, some internal engine mods, gutted cat, port/polish manifolds, bored throttle body, backcut tranny gears, lightened flywheel, NOS, scary *** driver, the list goes on for a long time..
the man laid down consistent 14 second runs on stock tires and no bottle.. now you tell me that car can't do 163 on the open road.
