Sounds great, not loud at all but way less restricting. Put a dtm tip on it and it looks good and sounds great! Forget thos obnoxios sounding glasspack buzzcans.

What series did you get? I got my flowmaster on a few months back and it really sounds good, specially around 3200. Now she really growls. Flowmasters rock!Originally posted by MaxHeadroom

Yea it growls nice, really deep rumbling tone. Sounds amost like a v8 at idle. When you really open it up still sounds smooth, not raspy like a chain saw with no muffler. With my intake and that I do feel a little more pull. Next step is a y-pipe and make my own CAI. I've only had the car for a few months, 92 se dohc24v. I've wanted one of these forever.

So is the 40 series the one to go with? Another member posted earlier about how there really wasn't a good flowmaster for us, but I'm happy to hear that it works well for you guys.

I have a flowmaster muffler on my car too and I think it doesn't really sound that great. I'm actually thinking of going back to stock. It's really loud on the highway though. Just my .02

Yeah when driving around 25-35 mph, just cruising, it sounds sweet. A real mellow low tone. I love it.Originally posted by maxima2k2
