cai
cai
been reading all the posts about cai and would appreciate any feedback.not sure if i want to add a cai(pop charger)to my car.have wsp y pipe and high flow cat.Had hole in my resonator so local mufflr shop cut it out and relaced wth straight pipe.have a focuz muffler, car sounds pretty good really,a little loud but not ridiculous.dont know if i want any more noise that a cai would have under throttle.is a k&n drop in worth the investmnt,is it that much better than stock. Also this may be a stupid question but if i was to drill out the top of my air filter box with 1/2" holes all over than placed a piece of fine screen inside to prevent any dirt from getting in would that do anything to increase air flow????
Re: cai
Any aftermarket intake (be it Pop charger OR CAI) that removes the resonator is going to sound loud under WOT. I dont have an aftermarket exhaust per se, and so at redline my intake is making more noise than my exhaust.
