My 300zx had an injector recall, and am curious if the Maxima does too.

I probably shouldn't be opening my mouth about this (especially when you'll probably get "roasted" for not searching before asking this one), but there are TSB's on a couple of things with our gen of Maximas (injectors and VTC being the most prominent), but one recall (on the fuel filler tube) that I know of.

recall
Their is a corrosion recall on my 92.All you have to do is call a nissan dealer and ask them for nissans 1800 number.I think it's 1800 nissan 1 but i'm not sure. At any rate just call that number and give them your VIN number and they'll give you any recall information.I just did it last week.

If you SEARCH in the General Forum, you will find several pages of a former org guy and I b!tching about this same thing. Fuel filler stem recall. It's a corrosion recall so if your Maxima is old and you didn't buy it new (or spend $8K+ on it), chances are they are not going to fix it or try and get out of it any way they can. It is usually $5K+ worth of work, and the dealership only gets 60% of what they normally would for the work (from Nissan). That keeps any dealership shop from wanting to do it. Good luck, buddie .
