Re-painting the side moldings??

Hi fellas, I found a site that sells oem paint. I was wondering if this stuff would work for painting faded side moldings?? The site is http://www.paintscratch.com/. The paint can be applied with a pen, brush, or spray can. What would you guys use?

Thanks

i've used that paint for my grille...it matches up very well. For something like the moldings i would go with a spray version. Also pick up the clear coat that they sell.

nope, scuff them up so tha paint sticks. if you can pull them off to paint them it would be better, but its easyer to tape them off on the car. use a scotch brite pad or some wet dry 400 grit

I removed mine today. Took about 20 minutes of heating with the hair dryer and slowly prying them off. Then comes the hard part; getting all that 11 year old sticky double sided tape off. I spent 2 hours just finishing the passenger side front door. Then I had to come inside because it was getting really cold and dark out. So tomorrow I figure it will take me another 6 hours to finish the other doors. I've been using 3M adhesive and tar remover ($7) and WD-40, but I haven't been impressed with either. It basically just takes a lot of patience and elbow grease.

I guess you can just take it to a body shop and pay them like 10 bucks to take it off. Hey, it saves you the hard ache.
