92 SE Tach problem

Anyone having tach problems mine just picks a new number to start at
all of a sudden it will jump to say 3k at idle. The engine speed doesn't change just the needle position.

i had a similar prob with my temp. needle...it would jump all over the place...all it was was a loose screw on the back of the cluster

Fixed it by cleaning up the grounds

Gauge cluster for sale from my 94 gxe
