Why is there even a Maxima Soft Top

See I bought this 1991 Max GXE Soft Top thinking it was cool and that i never seen one. Now after being a member here I have seen some nice maximas. I dont want this pos anymore I want a sun roof do you think i can take this soft top off? I mean I just dont like the look anymore i feel like 92 year old with a caddy. I love maximas not mine help me any ideas that I can do. I know i can sell it but right now I really cant any other ideas. Plus i dont want to put more money into this if I dont like it. The car runs great just dont like the top.

its probably an aftermarket top and it will have adhesive holding it in place. that will stick to the roof, if youre planning on redooing the car then rip away. putting in a sunroof can be costly too though so keep that in mind.

someone had a pic of one awhile back, i think it looks like crap. I wouldnt have bought it no matter how "cool" i thought it was. Try to sell it and cut your loses or rip it off and do whatever needs to be done.
