Fuel Injector replacement...how long?

Alright, here's my next repair/replacement job, the fuel injectors. I have read and read and I think I am ready to tackle it. Anyway, no one actually said how long it takes and I was just wondering. I am going to start on them this afternoon after work and hope to be done tonight. Is this a quick DIY, or long and drawn out process. Anything hard about it besides getting the new o-rings to sit properly? I will try and take pics and write up instructions for it. I know Bryan has a write up but his car is a 91 SE auto and mine is a 94 SE 5 speed. We had a few differences when it came to the water pump.

BTW: I got the injectors from www.frautoparts.com for $83.95 each. These are NOT remanufactured.

You have the VE? Should be alot easier in the VE vs the VG. The fronts can access easy but for the rears, you have to take off the upper manifold. I would probably take off the whole rail and replace the injectors on a bench. Be carefull about prying the old injectors off and use a tiny bit of Vaseline when putting in the new o-rings.

I finally got a permanent job. After 2 years of working contracts, I am now the Network Administrator of a small consulting firm in Lexington, SC. I have not had time to get on the net much.

Thanks Jeff, I will take your advice.

Sidney, it's good to see ya again, bro! As for the injector install, if you've got a VE, I can send you my write-up I did for mine. I just did it a couple of weeks ago. It took me the better part of a day to do, but I got it done. Drop me a line here, and I'll get it out to you ASAP.
