hey..

thats cool.
Are you running on stock struts? How much is the car dropped?

Also, I don't remember if it was the case for ST springs or not... but is the front lowered more then the back?

thanx

Hmm it lowered it a lot..looks a lot better...they lower the front and back both 1.5" but back ended up being a tad lower on my car, maybe cuz i have a big sub box in the back.
Yeah they're stock struts but they arnt the orginal ones im pretty sure cuz they dampen awesomely and my car has 177k on it

wow cant wait to see your car foo90se

I will be getting those same springs this January. Were they hard to put on. Cant wait to see the ride height! Is it bumpy or like a nice smooth not very rough bump over bumps?

Its rough..bout as rough as it was though(was pretty harsh to begin with). trouble i ran into putting em on was, on the front, the dam coil spring compressor wouldnt compress the stock spring enough so i had to pull the nut off under a little tension...just kinda 'popped' tho hehe...also the back ones had a lot of bolts to take loose..took my 3 hrs so it wasnt too bad tho

sounds nice, I wanted to get intrax but my damn money order got lost in the mail. that was a 1.75" drop. was the install hard at all? all you do is take the wheel off and compress the springs and pop them out right? yea i wanna see pics too. -blake

its a little more complicated than that block being struts u gotta remove struts, compress spring, make sure u mark where everything is lined up, then take top off and remove spring

My friend who had the pics accidently deleted em ill get more tomorrow tho

my car

now when I go over speed bumps (recently) makes a weird noise... My mechanic did say I would need a new rear sway bar soon, and that it woudl amke a noise so I hope it's that. If not my next best guess would be springs, struts, shocks. With a 1.5" drop how much am I looking at for the 3 s' and what kinds? How much for installation?

Ah..i c..well our cars dont have shocks, just struts all around. The sus tech springs are the lowest cost at 190 with tax for the set. I duno about struts cuz the ones on my car were still good so i kept em.

thanks guys...

anyone know about install costs for springs and struts? And when i go over speed bumps I hear this weird noise like a wooden ship creaking at sea now... Is this RSB, springs, struts. What should I get under the car and look for to fidnd otu whats good and whats not? Is the RSB just a bolt on job I can do myself?

Look for any dry-rotted or messed up rubber parts...my car creaks too, i think from high milage. Rear sway bar is something u should be able to do youself, i took my halfway loose when i did my springs and it looked like 4 more bolts would of taken it on off.

If it's cold outside, it could very possibly be the suspension bushings making the noise..
could also be the sway bar bushings, but I dunno.. if it's only like a rubber squeak, then you're okay.. if it sounds like metal on metal, I would check and make sure you got everything put back together right and the bolts are tight.
