haha

This happened to everyone who drives in my family at least once. I did that with the max next to my job, was late, took the key out and threw it on the passenger seat, then got my jacket on, came out and locked the freakin door... realized my mistake at that same moment. So i had to call my dad from work to come and open the car for me with another key

My father once locked his Sable while it was running! We tried every ****ing possible way of opening the door, people walking by offered help, cab drivers, limo drivers, etc.. we were in a big commercial area and went into some store and found those special ruler-like things with hooks at the tip to open car doors. I didnt know u can get stuff like this in stores! lol.. At one point we asked cops, they took a look, and said, no we cant help u and left... so be glad they helped u out. eventually we tore up the window molding and opened the lock with the ruler. Car was on for a total of like 3 hours. My brother did the same too.

This is why I always carry a second key in my wallet, or on a second key ring. Been there, done that.

you got what you paid for. If you wanted it done right, you should have paid for a locksmith. Some police Dept. don't even allow their officers to open car doors just for that reason. You are wiser because of the experience. Just think, when you get rich and famous and buy a Bentley and you lock your keys in it, You won't call the cops.
