I ordered the Pacesetter short throw shifter today can't wait to get it. I hope it'll shift nicer than that crappy stock tree truck of a shifter the maxima got lol. Oh ya by way I have a 89 SE 5 spd. Do I need anything else I heard i need a bushing set is this true? Thanx Guys

 

my pacesetter came with boots and teflon grease; that was all I needed

very happy with it
install is a pain, you need to take off the heat shield above the catalytic converter and if you can get the cat off completely it would make things a ton easier, but I couldn't so I had to work around it

there is a 4th gen site around with instructions for install and it's pretty similar
I know some other people (including myself) have posted impressions of the pacesetter unit. Search for more info
