I need pwr Antenna

Well, it broke in two pieces, i was ppppppp'd off and broke the remainder. So i need another motor/actuator, and antenna telescoping piece that extends and retracts on the outside of the car.

Can anyone help out? Keep an eye out while at the wreckers for one, or if you have one on a parts car.

thanks alot in advance

Charles

not up here dude, junkyards still arent putting out 3rd gen maximas in the u pull it sections. They keep them in the part not accessible to the public.

The same goes for 2gen legends and 1g talons.

Ive called up a few yards to see if they yank the power antennae off and put them in invetory, and no luck, Its been quite a few months now, and i will yanking a power antenna off of someone elses maxima on night, only one other problem, not manny other maximas having functioning pwr Ant by now.

So like i asked, keep your eyes open for me please, I will obviously pick up the tab on shipping, yard cost and your time.

Thanks again
Charles

I talked to a lot of people that have 3rd gens about there antenna's becouse they stoped working and they said all you have to do is go to nissan and get a crank(30) and install yourself and it will work but if your motor is gone thats another thing, i replaced my power antenna with a non power before i found out about the crank wich sucks becouse everything worked. it just would have problems going up and down but you could hear it trying to work.

just ordered it today, Ill drill a hole in the back of the roof and run the wires through the headliner to the rear pillars and then run it down to the trunk where the old antenna wire still is and Ill run another power back there, so I can power the antenna,

dunno but this was only $45 and I think it looks good, so I dont care about the hole, plus Im worried about those bigger ones getting ripped off, this ones only 2" tall and I like how they look on the new 740's and 745's

What year Max do you have?

Have one at home, just the mast though.

Get a part number from the dealer.

The last time i went to the dealer, (last year) they wanted $300~CAD for it, maybe it was the complete assembly.

I will check the dealer again, i also have to check the condition of my motor, i cant remember if i totally killed it,, or just killed the wire that pulls and pushes the antenna.

Also, i will pass on the half working antennas anyone is offering to sell me!! thanks anyway.

I also installed one of the euro antennas on one of my colts(near the rear of the car) Reception is amazing with that antenna, i will not on the other hand install one of those on the maxima, IMHO i dont think it suits the maxima.
