Strange Sound while turning...

I had my lower ball joint replaced on left side, but not right side. Whenever I make right or left turn, I can hear the sound under the hood. Is it lower ball joint or something else? If I don't replace it, any potential risk like wheel falling off quoted by the repair shop when I had first lower ball joint replaced?

BTW, mine is 92 GXE 111900 miles on it.

Thanks a lot!

sounds like the tires bumped on the unevened road and you can hear "Go Go" (:-) ask me to go and go...) The sound is different from the car when it's going straight---the bumping sound.

its funny how people describe sounds...

Anyway, it sounds like ball joint problem to me. I doubt that it would pop off on you, but you should check the joint for the safety pin. Make sure that's is there, and then have it checked out for the problem.

. . .There is also a bearing at the top of the strut. If this goes bad, it gets noisy. This could explain the "under the hood" bit. Check all the strut bolts for tightness as well.
