My opinion is that if you live in an area that has bumpy roads such as New York City, Kyb Gr2's would suit you better. Tokico are good if you live in a place with nice roads, not saying that roads don't have bumps in them but in New York where I live it gets to be a bit much. I rarely drive my car into the city since I have tokico's. In the time I owned my car for the last 2 years I have just gone once or twice into the city to pick up my Mom and I had no choice since she's my Mom. I've had my suspension set-up for about 9 months now and I haven't had any problems with Tokico but when I have to replace my struts I'm getting Kyb's.

I haven't personally been through these two shocks I have only been able to enjoy my tokico's, which I have no complaints about. My good friend on the other hand with a 3rd gen but not on the org, went through both brands of shocks and he told me that when I get my next shocks to get Kyb's because they held up better for him than the tokico's and they're much cheaper. I'm not saying tokico's are bad I'm just saying that they will last probably better in N.J. because you guys have nicer roads than N.Y. Max420 on the org also agreed on this before and my other reasoning is that New York Roads just don't help.

Yup, and if I knew how bad the Toks were going to be, I would have bought them in a second.

I've got the KYBs on my '89 with stock springs. There is no way I'd couple them with the Eibachs. They are too soft and I don't think for a moment that they are durable enough to handle the beating of the lowered car.
I had put Tokicos and Eibachs on the '93 that I used to have. The Tokicos were nice, but there was a very noticable performance drop (more bounce and roll) after 9-10 months of them on the car. That was about 11K worth of driving. I should have spent the extra few bucks and bought the Koni struts.
My '92 SE will get Koni/Eibachs/sways/subframecn's come April. Its in storage for the winter, and I cannot wait to get back into a car that can corner like its nothing.

do they give a real stiff ride with Eibach's? Will it be like the tokico when they're spankin new or a bit stiffer? Your input might make me buy Koni's for my next set
