Ya know.... I asked Napa about that part. They told me that you can bypass it and still have heat, as it's just a valve or something. They suggested to me that I get one of those Prestone flush kits and use the little bypass T-joint thingie and connect the two hoses together.

 

Ill give it a try and let you guys know
