Does Any One Have This Problem?

My fuel gauge is no workin as it should, every time I fill up the tank it doesn't go all the way up it reads 3/4 of a tank, now onece I drive for about 50 miles or so the needle is already pointing on Empty, does any one know how to fix the problem, please let me know because I already got stuck with no gas one time and it's not very nice.

I had the same problem when i installed new gauges. I just fill my tank up to the limit and took my gauge cluster out and moved the needle myself to full ever since then no more problems. So I dont know if that is the right way but it worked for me

9 times out of 10 this is usually caused by the sender(variable resistor)in your fuel tank ... sometimes they rust and change value making your gauge read incorrectly. The other 1 in 10 could be the gauge or a bad (partial connection) in the wiring to this sender.
