and also, I've never really heard of anyone with a UDP having any troubles with any of their accessories - alternator, steering, A/C, water pump, etc

No problems here, after one full year of usage.

how much of a difference, performancewise, have you UDP members noticed with this pulley?

the big thing I noticed is that the car revs faster and the heat soak problem goes away. I suggest you get this for your car.

I have run my car at the drag strip many times before and after the ASP UDP install. Before I took it to the track, my butt dyno said that it revs ALOT easier. The tach needle has never moved so fast. I could tell that I gained a little low end power. And I couldn't tell much or any difference on top end other than it revving faster. Throttle response is the biggest noticable difference.

When I took it to the track, my results were that it shaved one full tenth off my 60' time and 2 tenths off my ET. For some wierd reason, my trap speeds dropped one mph. But there was a 10 mph headwind that day at the track, which might make a little difference.

Anyway, I am very happy with this mod.
